This painting is a tribute to summer in Berlin, messy, unpredictable, but full of life. Sure, it rains. But soon enough, the light dances over the canal again.

The air is warm, the streets shimmer, and somewhere, music is playing, from a window, a park, or a late-night Späti. Summer in Berlin is about celebrating, living freely, and dancing until the clouds turn purple.

Pastel yellow stands for the optimism that summer always brings. Pastel purple captures the quiet moments of melancholy that come with it. And the sprinkles, they’re like drops, beats, fleeting moments.
